Nasal Bot Fly symptoms in Roe

Hi All,

I was watching a young Roe Doe in my garden last night (N E Scotland) and she was behaving oddly. She looks constantly irritated as if by insects, shaking her head and making short highspeed dashes around the place. She stands on her hind legs boxing, does a strange 4 legged spring straight up, (like a springbok) kicks her back legs out and constantly shakes her head. She is steady on her feet and is eating normally, (mainly my apple trees!) but looks slightly thin. I thought maybe nasal bot fly? There is a buck with her but he seems normal. Does any one else have any experience of this behaviour, nasal bot flies or any other ideas?

Regards
