Trulux Scope

I've had this Trulux scope a number of years, it was mounted on my .22 lr with good success.

I will be picking up a .270 shortly and have been thinking about mounting it on top, also it came with the mounting bracket which is in good fettle.
Getting it to fit is not a problem as I do a lot of machining, it always held a good zero on the .22 but as they have next to no recoil the question is what do people think it will be like on a .270.

I have a Kahles ready to use but thought it would be an interesting project for the sake of a little time on the mill. Quite the tool for driven boar and at 4 x about the right mag.

I had one a while back, Israeli marked, from the US?!, I think if you search you can find replacements for the now dead tritium, a little battery unit I think, great bomb proof scopes, mega clear but not the highest mag, but it was not designed as such, a good project, give it a go!

This guy has replaced the Tritium tube, they are betalights, fishermen use them for fishing alarms etc, this link is the lights NOT necessarily the correct diam or length, shame, I gave two away that I was going to use for a Twiggy night vision base scale, again, same pronlem the light source died some years ago, good luck!
