These photos were sent to me by Muddy. The first 2 are of a gastric ( abomasal ) gland of a hind. The cartridge is .243 for size.
The incised one is typical of caseous lymphadenitis normally found in sheep, see the onion ring like structure.( Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis)
It was in poor condition with a broken leg and also badly infested with warbles
Multiple fractures of the tibia.
The three legged one is a Roe and you can see the leg is turned in to support the weight. obviously to maintain balance.
