After a lot of thought I am now putting this rifle up for sale as I dont have the heart to renew the tube.
This is a 1984 Sako AII in .243 that was the 20th Anniversary Raffle Prize for the British Deer Society. It has a lovely bit of walnut with a roe head below the grip, there is also some engraving on the barrel stating "British Deer Society 20th Anniversary Model Nr 1". The only thing that has been altered is the action being bedded. There is a couple of chips in the wood that can be seen in the 3rd photo.
I have shot sub MOA groups with this rifle and a crow at 186 yards using 75gr Reminton accutips.
I will add photos tomorrow and I will be looking for around £600. It is extremely difficult to put a price on something as unique as this and feel that it is more of a collectors piece.
