Hi,
I have just been offered one of these with a Harris bipod and 1 inch scope rings for £300 is it a good deal?

I was thinking of getting a 222 for long range crows but as I have a spare slot for a 6.5 I might even buy this and pass it on once I have had the bipod :)

Cheers

Ian

Ive been looking for one of these!

I have the 595 in .22-250 and its a very good rifle.

For £300 you cant go wrong as long as its not totalyl buggered.

For 300 quid, jump on it like the last bus home! It could always be rebarrelled etc etc if that is a problem ... the action is a good one. I know of an Estate Rifle of this type that has seen hundreds of rounds in its lifetime, using Norma factory 120's , it still shoots less than 3/4 MOA, and drops Fallow and Roe DRT.

Best

If you don't want it pass it to me! I've been looking for one. I can rebarrel it myself if needs be.

Jump on it and don't let go if it's in reasonable condition. Those rifles are much nicer than the newer ones and if I was looking for another 6.5 I'd have his arm off!

Its worth that with knackered stock and barrel.

They are usually going for circa 5-600 as working rifles.

The Harris is worth twenty quid, the mounts,,,who knows.
