First of Season and drop to shot

First buck of the season, oddly enough shot within about 300 yards of my first last year. A windy, cold, damp morning but having seen 12 last night (including this one) I thought would give it a go anyway

For the drop to shot boys pic of pluck posted too - 120 yards, sierra soft point .243 100g. Perfect broadside rib to rib, as you can see top of heart completely gone. Leapt vertically then took off, ran about 70 yards before folding

Thanks. breathed on sako 75, proper bedding, blueprinted, jewell trigger, McM stock etc etc Had it a while as current hill rifle, v v accurate. 1st cold and subsequent shots all sub moa
