Tikka COAL

I load for an M595 in .222 and my book states the max COAL as being 2.130. Does anyone else reload for this rifle/calibre,if so,what COAL are you using and how far off the lands. I calculated that the OAL on a cartridge hard up against the lands is 2.151,does this sound about right? If so loading at 2.130 would put me 20'thou off, does this sound about right or should I go closer? Thanks

You've got your measurements mate, just trial and find out what your rifle likes some rifles like it close some on just have to make some and get to the range.

If it's happy with that then leave it, but no harm in trialing some seated to different coal. I was once told that tikkas sweet spot was 30thou, I used to load my old t3 as long as the magazine allowed and it shot with amazing accuracy (I've got a photo of a 1/4" group somewhere). As ever, work up and be safe.
