What's your nv rig/ set up

Does anybody have a photo of a mounted Yukon Photon with doubler and extra T67 IR lamp ? Anybody experience with this kind of setup? Needed for use in a QR mount ( rifle also needs day scope ) for foxing from a barn looking over a 6/7 acre field.

Would be very pleased to hear somebody who has experience with this kind of setup.

22/250 Ackley with 20 in tube, tikka 595 action and McMillan stock with photon Mk 1 and NM400. Spot with a flir ps24 and launch a 75g Amax. Used to use a 17 rem but that has a day scope now for corvids. Photon is OK out to 200 on fox but I'm hoping to change to a drone pro when I can

One more!!

CZ527 in .223 Rem. Leupold VX-3 6.5-20x50, Wildcat Pred 8 Mod, PVS-14 with NM1000 IR laser, firing 50gn Z-Max handloads.

Charlie doesn NOT like it!!

Steyr Tactical Elite in .223 cut down to 15" with Ase Jet Z CQB moderator topped with a 75mm 640x480 thermal rifle scope. Nothing can hide from it.

Hi Clive

I hope you are both busy and well, I was hoping to have the 700 from you to do a write up and surprised that it has not showed up as I know three people that use it,

Looks good and of course coming from a top nv chap it says a lot,

Thank you and kind regard

Bob

Remi 700 semi custom (dm shooting) in 243 going to look to change it to a 222 of the same.
S&B 8x56 with a NV UK rear add on and t67 good to spot at 400 shoot at my self imposed 150/200 limit.
Or if lamping red torch Replaces the NV and the 8x56 is still great.

Very nice bud,

Im doing the same with the new 20 tac, the older oe will be nv set up, as above, the new 20 tac will e a zeiss 4:5/14x50 plex, with the t50 in red, green or white,

Like you I will get shot of the 243 and stick with small cals, I have the t67 with white and ir but find it a tad to big for my needs so I'll sell it on and just stick with the t50 as on the other 20 tactical, I'll use the roof lamp to spot and then the t50 for the shot at about 150/200 yards max,

Bob

6-6.5*47 Lapua and a 70 grain BK at 3550 fps.
Remmy 700, blueprinted, pac-nor 26" barrel, jewel trigger, Hardy gen IV mod.
S&B PMII with Starlight Archer.
LR90 with canvas full length electric sun roof in back for two standing - one on the lamp, the other on the rifle.

Just missing 3 pairs of NV goggles, an IR filter for the lamp and some thermal kit for the summer. Will have to save the pennies up.

Flipinnel Nigel,

The lr sounds good, I'm not a fan but some you see have had some great work one to them for stalking/hunting,

.222 Blaser R8 Success pro with a RT ( the older one) photon and pulsar 840 NM IR

I’ve just finished off a box of homeload 35 grn BT and they have been really good on accuracy

Shoots out to 200 yds pinhole and bang on all round piece of kit, never fails to amaze me, I’ve grassed some foxes with this kit

I keep looking for a no frills NV but for money it costs this little NV scope set up does the job 100%

I can’t fault it, it just does the job

Good luck bob, I’ve also got a Annie 22 hornet which is also a superb foxing and rabbit calibre out to a 100

Also just got a slot for a 17 hornet, looking for another Annie or Weihrauch and I think a NV Pard 08 will be going on that it’ll be a good back up for the other 2 rifles

Happy days. :tiphat:

Got a .20 tac here I'd sell for the right money Bob.......niel built it and it's done nowt......
You'll probably need 12 months to think on it.........lol
Cheers
