get a stihl but make sure that its got enough for your task often people buy a strimmer when they need a brushcutter........... Buy smart buy once!

Don't get a Mitox strimmer / brushcutter, whatever you do!

brushcutter, leaf blower, 2 hedge trimmers, chainsaws all stihl, 5-10 years old. Flawless except on one of the trimmers the damn fuel tank cap is a bugger - it has a daft lift and lock thing which after a few uses gets knackered Paid £70 for retro fit of standard tank and cap. Believe Stihl now given up on them. I also suggest get brushcutter and then get strimmer head for it - far more guts and dual purpose for when you need something tougher than 9 inch high grass

What's it to cut? (worst scenario)
What size area is it to cut?

And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”........Dalai Lama

Stihl, stihl, stihl or husky. Either pony up or go to eBay and get the commercial stuff, not domestic.

I like this one, been working fairly hard now for nearly 20 years.
And with a chainsaw type disc on the front it will tackle just about anything.
