Mine did the same,Zeiss replaced them free of charge after a phone call,great service just give them a call.Wf1
Well thanks Zeiss one phone call and new eye cups in the post. That's why the kit is expensive its quality
Grandson had a pair of Terras that did the same, replaced them without a quibble, replaced the binos all he was looking for was the replacement of defective part.

I saw the same, a cracked extending eyepiece, today 9 June on a pair of 7x42 Utravid HD in the Leica shop in Briton Place. I was collecting two old Trinovid BA 7x42 and 8x42 that I have.
So IMHO it is a design fault of having "twist" up three position eyepieces rather that simple straight, not twisting required "pull" up but only single position eyepieces. So much for giving the customer what you think he/she wants!
