i saw a picture of a wooden one and made my own version of that to suit my needs

heres one a good friend of mine made before he went on to make a full size one.
Even stand to would'nt be able to find fault with climbing into this.....:lol:

its a portable free stander and is now in use (the full sized one).

All the feed back you need mate.
First time in it, 20 minutes later this lad jumps out of the old lane and heres the result.
You can just see the seat in the tree above the box.
Should have had a seat here years ago.
What a way to christen it.
This chap had no problem climbing in and not having to turn around made a huge difference and we were comfy as peas in the preverbable pod.

Hey up wayne another buck from that seat tonight same place as last thats 2 in 2 outings from there.

This guy is a great shot but hes also a very big lad
the seat never even bowed or creaked once.

that should bring you plenty of deer from there perfect position i think i managed to get a good match with the paint john,all the best wayne.
 
just finished a small lean against portable seat this one is 6.5 ft just enough to get a good vantage without being over the top and easy movable 04082010264.jpg04082010265.jpg
