    Tomatin, places of interest

We have got a family holiday coming very soon close to Tomatin, other than the Distillery (which I've already got plans for!) are there any family oriented days out on the area?

    thanks for any tips!

A friend used to run the Tomatin smithy. He retired a few years ago but someone may have taken it on if bangs and flames and showers of sparks and things may be of interest!

Spectator sport for me, but then I am addicted professionally...

Not far from the Findhorn Valley, a lovely scenic drive that runs to a dead end, but there are walks at the end. Lots of wildlife: mountain hares, golden eagles, peregrines etc. Always visit if up that way so may be worth your while.
