    CLA Gamefair - Harewood

Anyone go to the Gamefair today?

First time I have been for a few years and thought it was smaller, much less packed and less Ritzy than it has been in the past.

Any thought on why this might be so? Exhibitor fees, Entrance Fees, Location, Weather?

(Didn't stop my wife from spending 1,000 on clothes and footwear for herself though!)

Was there today and really enjoyed it. Hectic layout but seemed to be less stalls selling crap, and more to do with the countryside.
Bargains to be had, but discounts need to be asked for and haggled hard !

Was a great day. First time in 16 years!

I enjoyed it. Drove straight in at 8:15am, no queue at all.
Could not spend much time looking at guns as I had the Mrs with me.
Not much queues at food outlets.
Clean toilets of the flushing variety and hot water to wash hands.

I live 20 miles away, but wont be going,

the last gamefair I went to there took 2 hours to get out of the carpark, all the traffic was being sent through one exit,

    Hi Bobt
Drove out of the Fair no problem yesterday. It was a queue but it was always moving and took 15 mins max. A bit annoying watching the ignorant gits pushing in as they did not see why they had to queue at all but that is people for you. I was impressed how well it was organised.

    a very wet afternoon,

Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway with vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.

I went with a mate last night, as he was going on his own and it is a long slap from Essex.
A car stopped in the queue 3-4 ahead and 2 people got out with 2 labs...
The black lab pulled off the lead and ran off chasing the car it came in and nearly go run over...
The fat lab then towed the women down the hill with us hoping she would end up on the grass!!
So that was a good start....
20 mins later there was an announcement for the owner of a late vogue if they could go back to it and let the dog out of it before the staff broke in to it!!

Lots of fits birds wandering around....

    Bought some chips....

Stalking is very much like going to the night club

The more times you go, there is always a chance of going home with one

You can always tell an Essex Boy, just you cant tell him much...

First time for me, went to see what all the fuss was about but honestly I was impressed, good day out for me, Mrs and the dog! I didn't find that cheap but you really had to haggle to get a the price reduced, Most weren't having any of it! Still managed to spend a small fortune.

    It was very well organised.
