The time has come to part with my Sauer .270 as other pressures take precedence. This was my first rifle, bought in 2008, and having gone to a stainless synthetic for practicality just isn't getting used. It shoots really well and is a real pleasure to shoot. It is in very good condition with the only real marks of note on the barrel blueing where the T8 has been fitted. The stock is very nice as hopefully you can see in the photos. Comes with Swarovski 6x42, Apel swing off mounts, T8, 28 home loads (Nosler Accubonds and Hornady Interbonds), 1 x box of PPU, c. 75xHornady Soft Points, c. 65xHornady SST, c.25 x Nosler Accubonds all 130 Gr. and 2 bags of unused Remington Brass. I've also got some Forster competition dies and a bore snake that won't be needed if the rifle sells.
The scope was fully serviced by Swarovski 2 years ago so the optics are superb, and has been stored since. There are a few marks on the body however.
Looking for the £1150 for the rifle, scope, and moderator or £1200 for the lot including the ancils (bipod not included). Ideally I don't want the extras to go until the rifle has gone if people want to split. Having looked around I think that is a fair price for a complete setup for those fortunate ones amongst us who shoot left handed!
Few photos below and I will try and find the latest target that I shot after check zeroing it a few weeks ago for the first time in 4 years!
Located just south of Salisbury but can be sent via RFD at buyers cost. Offers considered.
This is what can be achieved with the 130Gr Hornady Interbond homeloads at 100m.
