    Question Roe mounting.....

I shot this lovely chap in early April, in Glasgow, made Bronze with 114.52 CIC points and and just
looking for some advice on the best way, or suggestions for displaying or mounting ?

    Any suggestions please...

    Cheers & ATVB

    What are you wanting ultimately?

you could get a shoulder mount with a donor cape or cut the skull carefully and have it as a skull mount on a shield....

I am thinking of just putting on the wall. I have in the past just looped a wire invisibly through the back and and hung on a nail....But was thinking of something slightly smarter like a shield but not !

I don't really want to cut it either ! Just thinking out loud and thinking a natural piece / disk of wood rather than manufactured shield.

Does any of that make sense ?

Heres what I did with my bronze. Essentially cut a sliver of tree branch at an angle, sanded it down and varnished it. Head attached from the back with a screw through to the base of the skull.

Was going to advise always wear a condom but I was beaten by more serious answers.

Any way will do me I would do the small shield with area at the bottom for medal well done and pity you did not get a wee .5 more.
This pick will show how tall he was.
As I get older I have realised that I cannot please everyone. But I find I can easy piss every one off.

Dave & Pierre - two great tips over the border this year, "I'll be back" !

Next time hopefully just for the sheer joy of it rather than the stress of performing under DSC2 test conditions !
