A muntjac buck shot last night.
Although he looks to have had some damage to the antlers when in velvet he's notable for being almost bald on top! He's being sent to the taxidermist so the teeth haven't been checked, but he must be some age. He also had a thick neck that made him look more like a boar than a deer Sadly from the photo's you really don't get a good idea of his size, but he dressed out only a couple of pounds lighter than a 2 year old roe buck shot earlier in the week.
Again, sadly I can't claim the credit for the guiding or the shooting, but thought he was interesting.
