Hi folks, I've just bought a Sako 85 finnlight in.270 as a base for a restoration. The stock is very well used and needs replaced. I'm intending to order a Mcmillan stock for it but wondered if anyone might have a surplus sako stock so I can use the rifle while I wait the year for the McMillan? I'd quite like a wooden stock that I can refinish (might even paint the action and barrel to a blued finish) but I wouldn't mind a decent condition synthetic stock, so long as it's from the M length action. I don't mind paying a fair price for it but like I say, I'd rather have a rough (wooden) one that I can refinish than pay for a beautiful piece of wood.
