Hi, New member here.
I've been lurking around viewing the forum on and off for a while now.
Been stalking deer in the UK now on and off for maybe 25 years. Regrettably due to work, family commitments, health, other interests etc, it's been more off than on so I don't consider myself an accomplished or particularly experienced stalker. I have a dusty DSC1 somewhere but over the past decade have only gotten out on maybe a dozen occasions all guided so Rusty might have been a better nickname than Bigbloke.
I've taken Roe, Red (once), Fallow and Muntjac over the years.
As I think back, the lasting memories have been the places and sights, also the people rather than the kills or the kit.
Preparing to go out stalking is pretty special to me, it's rare enough that it feels a bit like getting ready to go on holiday and I am hoping to be able to get out more often over then next year.
I have maintained my FAC throughout. Currently a Sako 75 in 270 with a schmidt 3-12 x 50 and a T8 can.
All the best
