I am glad I found the Stalking Directory and have found some very good info and ideas generating
I have noticed on this and other forums that discuss meat curing that No1 and 2 powders (more than
one company, worldwide, manufacture them) are sometimes referred to as Saltpetre.
This is not the case.
I know wikipedia is not the font of all knowledge but if you have look in there
under Curing Salts you will find the difference.
