Just a quick annoucement for the Stalkers in the Devon and Cornwall area.

Ever wondered if you have been sitting on a medal head some where in the loft or garage?

Want to learn how to measure your own deer antlers?

The Country Sports Shop, Newton Abbot, Devon will be hosting Charles Fenn and Tony Dalby-Welsh (CIC International Judge) of the CIC Evaluation Board on the 13th Feb at 1000hrs. This will be a FREE day where you can bring your potential trophies in and get them measured. Please note certificates and medals are chargeable should your head make a medal. This workshop will run throughout the day starting with a brief history of the CIC. Charles and Tony will demonstrate what to look for in each species and how and where to run your tape measure. This will be a rare oppotunity to get members of the CIC team down in Devon so lets support it as much as possible.

This is also advertised on social media.

Big thanks to Martin Lamb and his son Chris of the The Country Sports Shop, Newton Abbot for hosting Charles Fenn and Tony Dalby-Welsh of the CIC. Plenty of heads measured including a massive Cornish 10kg Red head which made Gold. This event will go ahead next year due to its success. Gold, silver, and bronze medals were handed out with some gentleman very surprised what they had up in the loft ! Thanks to all members of the FB group "Devon Stalking" that supported the event including our resident camera man Phil Rowland. His pictures will be available on request shortly.
