I shot a roe doe last night which I've seen over the last 2 - 3 years & which I've never seen with offspring. During the Gralloch I found a fist size growth/cyst in the inner pelvic region attached to the tenderloin & rear haunch area. The growth was cream in colour with very small blood vessels on the surface. The lymph nodes were normal & no other abnormalities were found. Before I buried the carcass I pierced the growth & found it filled with a liquid akin to double cream.
Can anyone shed light on what this was likely to be. A couple of friends who are very experienced stalkers have indicated it probably is just that - a cyst.
