I’ve some news to share about JDR which I think you may find interesting. It’s going to be a very long post so bear with me…
It seems pretty likely that at some point this year my dear old dad will be moving in with us. Despite him good-naturedly saying he would happily bunk down amongst the shelves, I can’t in all fairness do that. Having once had a press land on my head I can foresee that it wouldn’t be a good idea!
Accordingly, I have to free up some space and that, my friends, is where you come in. More of that in a moment.
There’s going to be change of direction for us. In future, I’ll be concentrating on (in no particular order):
• special orders for reloading equipment, guns and ammunition - in that regard, nothing will change. If it’s in the United States and you can’t get hold of it I will endeavour to bring it in for you;
• a selection of the most popular consumables, including small bulk orders of powders and primers (transported by a specialist carrier that isn’t TNT);
• case tumblers. Some exciting developments coming in that sphere;
• short guns, by which I mean LBRs, carbines and some black powder pistols. This will evolve as we go along.
Not all of this will appear at the same time but these are the areas I will be developing. By the way, the Thompson Center idea isn’t dead; it’s just resting until it’s time comes.
We will still try to stock and supply bullets in the most popular sizes and weights as well as some other items that are popular with British shooters. Accordingly, you will see the main website become a little smaller in its offering but more focused.
There’s a special website aimed at hobbyists in general: JD TUMBLERS This will be developed as time goes on and will include all the tumblers we have at JD RELOADING LTD plus some general workshop tools and other hobby products such as Sculpey polymer clay (available now actually but not yet listed).
That’s probably rather a lot to take in, but I wanted all of our loyal customers to know what’s on next.
Now to the bit where you come in. I need to free some shelf space so here are some clearance bargains to consider. The number at the beginning is the quantity I have available:
