After a couple of years of absence due to babies and weddings, I'm going back to Cornwall with my family this Easter, specifically to Crantock, across the river from Newquay. I am desperate to do a spot of fishing of any description. It's too early for brown trout unfortunately, and ideally I'd quite like to do some sea fishing. There seem to be a few charter boats operating out of Newquay, and I could take pot luck, but it's always nice to have a recommendation. Also, the problem with boats is that there's a 50-50 chance at that time of year that it'll be cancelled due to the weather. But you know, I'll take my chances.
If anyone in the area has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Unfortunately opportunities are few and far between, so I try to make them count. Last time, I tried my luck at the foot of a cliff and was mugged by dolphins. It was a great experience, but I'd quite like to see some fish.
