Its not just me then

Hi all,
I had this sent to me by email today, I thought it was an interesting read.
Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister!

Written by a housewife in New Brunswick, Canada to her
local newspaper. This is one ticked off lady.

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or
was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our
shores on September 11, 2001 and have continually
threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered
that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from
the nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a
horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't
they?

And I'm supposed to care that a a few Taliban were
claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation
they come from and are fighting against in a brutal
insurgency.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in
and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on
9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle
East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of
which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry
for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed
through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in
Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of
disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blows themselves
up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children
within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that
their freedom of speech on stories is more important than
the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families
waiting a home to hear about them when something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a CANADIAN
soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain
information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when
he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped,
you can take it to the bank:
I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a
prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my
tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being
'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of
hearts:

I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's
spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy
Crack Corn and, you guessed it,

I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your
E-mail friends Sooner or later, it'll get to the people
responsible for this ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete
button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't
complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims
happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they
made a difference in the world. But, the Soldiers don't
have that problem.'

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I
hope you forward all this.

One last thought for the day:

Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for
you:

1. Jesus Christ

2. The Canadian Soldier.

3. The British Soldier.

4. The US Soldier.

5. The Anzacs, and

One died for your soul, the other 4 for your freedom.'

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET ALL
OF THEM. AMEN!

Nice to have you back mate! :D I heard that a Royal Marine might be getting a VC for jumping on a grenade to save his mates! Lucky he only got cuts and bruises. That was lucky!

What a woman, she tells it like it is and is spot on, a few like her in various parliaments would soon sort things out.

I`m the same as you Techman.
If I could shake that woman`s hand, I`d probably pop her shoulder out!
Just how many of us think the same as this lady, and yet the minority groups in power, totally disregard our thoughts and feelings?
There is something so drastically wrong with this system, but I cannot even understand the fault, let alone supply the answer!
Maybe I`m just not very bright.
ANYWAY, thank you Mr B, superb post!!!
Sorry if this is a bit disjointed.TONY M

It's funny...more or less everyone I know thinks like this (OK, I only know three people and one of them is my wife  )

So the question is: Who keeps voting our so-called leaders in?? It ain't me!

God only knows mate

But here`s the breaking news, it has now come about that the immigrants in this country do not actually put as much into the the country as was first thought, shock horror  , did they need someone on 100 plus grand a year to tell us that. I don`t want this thread to go this way, but it`s all relevant.

Saw that report on the news this am, very interesting.

Having said that, a few weeks ago I saw a programme about Polish migrant workers. The presenter asked some British lads outside the job Centre if they like to go and pick veg (this was Peterborough so plenty of farm work around). I seem to remember the pay was reasonable (over £7 per hour) but not one of the little slackers would get off they skinny little arses and do a days work. Didn't want to spoil their white designer track suits I guess. The Brits came across as inarticulate arseholes while the Poles were all keen and polite and just got on with it. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be British. Little cretins. National service, that's what's needed.

Calm, I will remain calm, I will now go and make myself a cup of tea and learn to stay calm. Slacking little bastards

Your Right Drew but the rot goes back along way. I think that it started with post war Britain and the loss of many fathers to the war. Then the sixties, all those hippy ****s causing trouble. Then the troubles in the seventies and eighties with strikes, followed by the loss of our industries and mining. I was brought up in Coventry and as a child everyone worked for a car factory, coal mining or engineering companies. There was a great pride in what you did, men would be happy to say 'I work at Herberts' or 'The Jag, Standard, Morris works' so much pride I remember in those days for what you did and who you worked for.
What we have now is ware house or driving jobs, no career employment and foreign workers getting all the jobs. Kids today want to be famous and not work too hard at it. And they say that TV doesn't effect childrens minds! To be fair on the foreign workers most work hard but for their own selfish reasons, money. But saying that, most of the English youth I have worked with are druggies and can't get out of bed!

We are in a world of sh1t in the UK right now and I think rebellion is in the wind.
