Here is a photo of my very pretty .22 CZ455 Stutzen with a hawke endurance 3-10 x44 scope together with my Parker Hale 1100 lightweight in 7x57 (thanks Gunner) topped by a nice 6x42 S&B (thanks Woodlander). Regards SBM
Hi Simon, the mounts and scope were taken off an air gun so I don't know the size of these mounts or the make but they are lower than the ones which came with the stutzen. The scope is a Hawke endurance 3-10x44. (opening post corrected). and I just fitted it to see how it grouped and was really pleased as I just put the only ammo I had to hand (eley sport) down the range. Regards SBM
here are a couple of pictures of my sighting in attempts.
The 7x57 is at 100m and the 4 shotss within an inch. Scope needs to be moved a touch to the right and also up a bit but happy with the result at my first attempt and with federal 140 ammo which was what I could get my hands on.
The other is by the Stutzen at 25m and is 5 shots then a reload of the mag and another 5 shots. Done off elbows with no rest or bipod. Ammo again was what I had to hand (eley sport) with other ammo and a bit of practice I am sure the group could be smaller. regards SBM
