Can I ask, what is actually involved with the +F part of first aid, what extra training/module is involved?

I've got the usual first aid cert, can you bolt on the F part to run alongside the normal certification until the renewal which in my case will be 2018. ???

cheers

A few hrs extra training for large trauma injuries.

I think a member on here posted looking for candidates to run a '+F' by itself if there was enough interest.

The +F includes,

Catastrophic Haemorrhage (serious bleeds)
Crush injuries
Hypothermia
Lymes disease

As said its an add on to the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

I am organising a course on the 14th of May if interested.
