Managed to get out this morning whilst the weather was good.
I thought the clear skies and bright moon might have resulted in the deer being out overnight, but there was quite a lot of activity still.
This six-pointer crossed over at the far side of the field:
Then I bumped into a doe as she came out of the woods into the cover crop, which has now been topped ready for ploughing:
There was a further doe bedded down but with the sun right behind her there wasn't the chance of a photo - maybe tomorrow.
