On the subject of dippers, how many variations are there, I am familiar with the two common ones, but I was over run on the clear fell a couple of weeks back, by small pale ish green bobbing birds, going hell for leather on the flies in the tree bole puddles, anyone think they know what they are?

It looks just like ours, except ours are slate gray. They keep me company while I'm fishing. I saw one fly underwater to get a salmon egg once, amazing.
