RCO, Jeremy Hidden Please try to arrive before 09.00 for brief & targetry. Don't forget your own refreshments for this one. Wednesday 19[SUP]th[/SUP] October at 7:30pm at Askham Bryan College (ABC). Unfortunately Viking Arms have informed us that they cannot honour their offer to attend. But all is not lost as Nightmaster have some exiting new night vision and thermal technology that they will bring along to demonstrate and let us play with outside in the dark. I sincerely hope that there will be a good turnout of members to join a keen group of students.

Sunday 23[SUP]rd[/SUP] October at 1pm is our annual visit to the Studley Royal deer park near Ripon by kind permission of John Horrigan to watch and listen to the red deer rut in progress. We meet in the upper (café) carpark near the lake, please bring the family but no dogs are allowed.

On Wednesday 16[SUP]th[/SUP] November at 7:30 at ABC. Dr. Morris Charlton will deliver another of his highly entertaining talks, as ever it is fairly topical – The impact of Prince Albert on British Game Sports. Meeting will be at 7:30 at the college.

Annual General Meeting – Wednesday 25[SUP]th[/SUP] January 2017 at 7:L30pm at ABC.
At the recent committee meeting both the Chairman Bob Holmes and Treasurer Mark Revel intimated that they will not be standing for future election at the AGM – whilst we are ever appreciative of the work they do they will leave a large hole to be filled in the running of the branch – volunteers/ nominations required please.
