The high peak is mount Sacarello at the head of the Argentina valley in Liguria, North Italy. This is the country the local guys hunt wild boar in. Extraction can be a long and painfull process. I get easy treatment, that is to say I carry my day pack and two or three rifles. The local guys some of them in their fifties and sixties drag the boar. They are hard as the ground they hunt! Little wonder the Germans had a tough time with them in their own back yard.
