since i can't sell my Tasco titan so i will put it on my .243, and it means i will have to sell this to allow me to get sorted with the new scope for the .20 tactical for some long range varminting.
its a Schmidt and Bender Precision Hunter 3-12x50 its current price is well over the £1,200 mark, this is well used with marks here and there but nothing bad no crushing etc etc,
the glass is probably the best i have ever looked through or is it just the fact that the bryant reticule is so good ??
P1 Bryant ret in the first focal plane so it starts of small on 3 mag then gets bigger as you wind up the mag. as does the Target,
the asking price in £675. cash this will include the RMSD delivery to your address fully insured royal mail, this is for the scope and lens covers only as i have no box.
I have used the scope on munty from 20 yards to charlies out past 250 yards with great results, and i think the presision part is right as this is the only scope i have used where i have put bullet on bullet at 100 yards.
S&B Blurb on the scope.
3-12 x 50 Precision Hunter
Factory adjusted to be parallax free at 200 meters, it offers the same capabilities as our 4–16 x 50 model. An exceptional all-around scope.
Our Precision Hunter riflescopes are based upon three of our most popular Classic series scopes, each equipped with a top-mounted bullet drop compensator and reticles designed to let you place an accurate shot at long ranges.
The elevation adjustment knob has graduations and numbers that allow you to create a custom distance chart for your preferred caliber. Blank elevation rings are also available with markings you can record after sighting in your rifle. All Precision Hunter scopes have 30mm tubes.
this is the scope on my .243.
i may be interested in a swap , the scope im looking for would only need 16 to 20 mag max. and if possible no big target turrets
