can anyone shed some light on the following for me please.
i was shooting yesterday and was talking away to the farmer when he told me of a cow he had slaughtered earlier this year.
the cow was brought to the abattoir with an infection which he was aware of but not serious so he thought.
on slaughter the cow was condemned by the site vet as having a nasal disease which came from wild deer.
this disease is transmittable from deer to cows but not cow to cow ???
does anyone know what this is and is that a correct diagnosis.
it cost the farmer £80 for the beast to be killed and the meat was destroyed
any constructive help appreciated,
