    .223 Bullet Weights

    Hi all

I shoot foxes with a .223, I am currently using 40 Grain Hornady Ballistic Tips, seem to shoot well enough out to abot 180 yards after that the group stsrts to widen a little. I have been told that if a change to a 55 grain bullet then my accuracy at longer ranges should improve. My rifle is a Sako 75 Hunter, with I think a 1 in 9 twist.

    What are your thoughts?

yes it will heavier bullets have better bc so they get afected by wind less. 50's or 55's will do the job very well. you could even use a 60 grain vmax in your 223 if you wanted.
