Anyone else see on the BBC website that the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize has been won by a photo of a girl on horseback with a blesbok(?) she has just shot across the saddle.

Ok , seems it was taken in South Africa and the girl is American but hell it's great that something earthy has swept the art world.

Will there be any backlash .... from PETA for example
 
Apart from it being a dreadfully contrived photograph (notice the reins), I love that a photograph like this can win a prize.

What do you guys think about the shot placement, is that the entry wound from a front-quarter shot, if so - well done - or is it the exit wound from a perhaps slightly too 'stomachy' shot?
