Just watched this video, top marks to the man for his efforts. The thing that is remarkable is the height that the moose can strike with front hooves and the accuracy. I have been trashed by hinds several times in the handling system and it is not much fun. Have had my head split open and nearly knocked out. However I think that one blow from that moose would probably break your skull. Everybody knows that antlers are dangerous but when a hind gets up on her hind legs and attacks with her hooves the only way out is to get in so close that she can't strike at full stretch. Then you just have to work out how to make a graceful departure.
