I recall seeing someone on here saying they had been sacked/made redundant because of sick leave, but i cant find the thread now. Just seen this offer on a genuine site and it's with WHICH the consumer magazine.

If you’re unsure of your legal rights at work, the legal service arm of consumer champion Which? is offering 15 minutes of free legal phone advice between the dates of Wednesday 2 March to Friday 11 March 2011.
Call with issues such as:
The Legal Service team offer advice on all areas of law but this offer is for employment issues only.
- bullying at work
- unfair dismissal
- maternity rights
- changes to contract terms or bonus payments
How to get help
Call the Legal Service team on 01992 822828, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm, and quote MSE1 to speak to one of the advisors.
If 15 minutes is not long enough and you want to continue, the Legal Service costs £51 for unlimited advice for a year. You can also contact your local Citizens Advice or ACAS (the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) to ask employment rights questions, plus your car or home insurance may include legal services.
