    Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40

Just put my Zeiss Conquest on Ebay if any one is interested:

    Any questions just ask.

I'd been told the ret no.4 is a little thick, for foxes at a distance. No direct experience. What's your opinion?

I would say that's probably true but I'm not a long range fox shooter. Not had any problems with calves and roe though. It's my favourite reticle for the hill.

Tube size would help, Presuming it is 26mm but as it is a conquest from Yankland it might be 1",

    or suppose oven 30mm

can you clarify (or have i missed it ?

    It's a 1" tube. (and yes, you did miss it ;-) )

ret l is fine i found for foxes even at longer ranges. on rabbits it is to thick though i found when at distance. i sold mine to get the zplex which is great all round. but the no4 imo was the better foxing scope. you can lock onto them very fast

Sorry but I'm not very good at 'still life'!
You can see the dings around the zoom ring, otherwise very clean.
