I've found two tick nymphs on me in the last week.
I have had 13 on one Chessie and 9 on the other, just started a fortnight ago. I had one on my inner ear on January 2nd and it was a pig to remove.

My first buck of the season managed to deposit 12 tick nymphs on me during gralloching. I have shot several does over the last few months in the same area and none of them have shown the same amount of infestation.
ive just got 5 of my lab in last 2 days bloody hate the things just remember guys if you get any on you keep eye out for lymes disease symptons we have had 2 cases in cumbria that i know of in last 12 months
Bought this 100ml spray for £6.50 plus vat so hopefully may do the trick.
will spray boots and trousers plus around neck etc whereever the buggers can get in.
hope this helps
Right what about the dogs, I used to use Frontline, but the Vets now say it's not any good, I now use Advocate, good for fleas and a host of other things, but not Ticks.
Advantix is good for Ticks but not fleas, and can't use the 2 together.
Anyone know of anything else to use?
Try rubbing sugar on your dogs coat, it rots the blighters teeth!!
