To be fair mate, 8 weeks that stretches to 13 weeks for a re-barrel job would be considered good by most 'Rifle-smith' standards! Being quoted 8 months that then becomes 13 months would not be unheard of especially for the wannabe 'Riflesmiths' who only do the rifle side of things as a hobby as they are really engineers contracted to other big companies. When they have taken on too much work, who do you think they are going to let down/mess around/not answer the phone to, you as Joe Bloggs or a contracts manager from British Aerospace? JC
Hi Jamie, after all that I picked up a 590 last week In 222 though it cost me more than the £300 you are asking...Hope it goes well then you can put It behind you ...Bargain to be had for someone and with loading data backup!...ATB
