Hunting Elk in Colorado - what an adventure and they worked really hard for their bull - 7 days of hunting for one beast. Hunting with a bow means they have to get to 30 yds of their quarry. Many times they are well within rifle shot, but so much more challenging getting within bow shot.
Let's not get into a debate over whether or not Bows are humane - they clearly understand and work within the limitations of their equipment.
Would love to hunt with that sort of space and freedom. Not jealous of turnpikes of Muir at all.
