iPhone user vermin caller

its nesting and denning time so I have been looking for a suitable caller i can use, they all seem a little pricey and the calls arent that great.

Luckily i have stumbled across an App for the iPhone that works a treat, it called iHunt, £2.39 and it comes with 450 different calls from crows to crocs! You can make your own playlists for call delay and repeat times and the calls are very clear, we called a hoodie in to the top of the tree above us yesterday. I am using it through the Toyota's USB connection on the radio but I have just ordered one of these...

Im sure I can make up a quick release bracket so it can be mounted on the Argo/Polaris/Toyota. On first impressions, it should work a treat.

And if there is nothing doing atleast I can play Angry Birds or Flick Fishing :D

Thanks for that, I have just found a couple of free ones for the Android system.
Will have a play over the next week, see how they do.

Neil. :)

The iHunt app is great - I use it on my iPad, plugged into a roof mounted horn speaker. If you need a bit more volume, Radioshack do a tiny battery powered amplifier (about the size of a fag packet) that you can run in line between the speaker and the iPad / iPhone.

I called in a very edgy barren vixen with mine the other night using 'distressed rodent' on low volume and it worked a treat. 21st century foxing...

Adam.

Im hoping the speaker I have linked to is amped already, if it not then I will sort out a Radioshack one.

It's the same speaker that I use - the volume is fine on a quiet windless night but when runnin through my iPad, it needs a helping hand from the amp'. They are about a tenner - I'll try and find a link to them for you.

Adam.

Edit: here's the link to the amplifier - it has gone up slightly in price but you'll find one cheaper if you shop around.
