    Mauser 243.

Mauser 243 was due to come up for the next couple of days, hopefully to get a nice Buck or two. However he has managed to damage his Achilles Tendon and after a visit to A&E this afternoon came away with his leg in plaster, probably be like that for the next six weeks.
I would just like to wish him all the best and a speedy recovery - - I'll set aside that couple of nice Bucks in the hope it won't be too long before he's up to get them.

Not good, I snapped mine in October and never went to the Doc for 10 days, avoided the plaster but only as my tendon had started to repair itself. Still under the Physio now, and will be for the forseeable future.

Not a pleasant injury, wishing him all the best, it's a long process.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

Achilles injuries are very nasty; my mate was out of running for over 8 months with just a torn Achilles never mind snapped one. I wish Mauser and Stu all the best with there recovery.
