    Browning Maxus

    Anyone got one of these with synthetic stock, intrested in one only been told that their fore end becomes reallly loose!!

    I've got one in wood, have not had it long but I really like it. Not heard of any bad reports.

    Thanks hammy, really like the look of them, but my my rfd told me he's had two back with the loose fore end complaint.

    I have had one for a year in Duck Blind with 26" barrels, it has been through a couple of thousand rounds.
    The forend does not get loose can be tricky (a gentle art) to get the forend on and off and is stiff whn new; some folk are bound to force it and bend it - hence the loose. IMHO

    Great S/A, with 3.5" chamber the options are varied

    That's what I wanted to hear, I thought it was strange that my rfd was trying to put me off. Watched some reviews on utube and no mention of the fore end problem.
