    Variation plus moderator?

Does anyone know if there is a fee payable when you apply for a 1 for 1 variation for a rifle in the same calibre but want to have a moderator as well which you haven't previously applied for ?

1 for 1 will be free, you will need to pay to get the moderator added, I think it's 26.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

pretty sure L+B will add moderators for free.
its a no brainer H&S issue, no questions asked.

Pretty sure they will want you to part with 26 though
health and safety is your good reason to want one , but it is a variation and will cost you .

Phone them up. I only had to write a letter requesting a moderator. No form and no charge.

there is no consideration, its just a "yes"

I was under the impression that any device to diminish noise was classed as a `firearm` itself, therefore obtaining one would increase the number of units on the FAC and must be paid for at the time of the variation.
Perhaps`Orion` or someone else with superior knowledge would care to comment on this ?

No fee payable from NWP. Top force IMO for a number of reasons.
