    Back from the Highlands

Got back late last night after another succesfull time on the Sika and Reds on my lease. Total for the two weeks is 16 beasts, including a very nice Sika that might go Silver and a large Red Stag that I took an American client onto which scaled just under 250lbs on the hoof.

Plenty of action but too warm, temperatures where up in the low 20F which was very warm for the time of year. Other highlights was some of the guys watching 4 otters catch and eat a salmon.

Apologies for those that have Pm'ed me about stalking in Dorset and Sussex I have replied and hope to hear back from you all in the near future.

Congrats Malc, nice to be back in your own bed after a week or so away!, temps are well down in LochAwe area this next week, so looking as good as it can weatherwise, I'll settle for one , or maybe two!

Good Luck Finny, weather needs to get colder although the rut is well in on the Reds as one might expect, but I think most of the bigger Sika are coming to an end with the rut when I left.

Well there is this younger stag looking pleased with his days work

Then there was this more mature stag who had been holding hinds and was now getting weary

and then there was this confused looking cull animal that was lucky to have got through last winter
