    Vortex Strikefire Opinions???

I have been fortunate enough to be asked to come to a driven boar hunt in November.

I am looking at some red dot scopes, the one that I have seen which is basically a cheaper version of an aimpoint is a Vortex Strikefire.

They are 30mm tubes so can be mounted easily on standard mounts.

    See link to their website

I have seen some videos on youtube and they seem to do what is required, but before I buy one I want to be sure I am not wasting my money.

Does anyone have any experience with them.

    Hi Ross

I cant comment on the Vortex but having owned an aimpoint i was very pleased with that..

Theyre tough and compact and maybe well worth the extra pennies looking at the overall package cost of most boar hunts

Look forward to some great pictures on your return

Blessed be the sheeple for they shall inherit bugger all...
