You guys who study ballistic info may be interested /able to explain this been given 2 boxes of brass today in norma boxes the info on the boxes say they both had 243 100grains SP semi pointed in them

0 50 80 100 150 200 300m
v 920 832 749 670m/s
e 2752 2248 1822 1462 joule
-4 3 X -32 -102 -381mm
Second box

910 790 680 579
crease in box 1302 1088
-3 X -36 -119 -452

The boxes are obviously from different batches,do all producers test every batch that carefully and therfore change data on the boxes accordingly or is it just down to norma quality.

anyway I have now 40 more norma cases to clean and reload

The second lot of numbers matches Norma's current website data for the 100gr SP.

I wonder whether the other box is older, and that they have since then changed either the receipe or the length of the test barrel?

I can't imagine they change the packet data for each batch based on testing; it seems more likely that they would test each batch for compliance with the data on the packet, rather than t'other way about.
