We spent a short time with jamross65 on his ground looking for my pals first Sika.
We traveled up the evening before and stayed in a B & B in peebles, recommended by jamross65 it was perfectly adequate.
We had one beer in the bar as we had been shooting (my pal is a keeper) and i was ready for bed.
The next morning came sooner than i expected, we metup on time and followed jamross for a short drive and found ourselfs on a stunning part of the borders
The place was spotless with no silage wrap blowing around and not a thing out of place. Some of the yorkshire farmers could take note.
His first sika was shot by around 10.30am, there was plenty of signs of sika every where we went, I saw a particulary good stag and plenty of others seen during the day.
It was well worth the visit and my pal was very pleased with the day, as he kept telling me on the way home.
I would recommend jamross to anyone wanting to bag a sika
Thank you jamross and hope to spent some time with you in the future
