Surely not on Remembrance Sunday Mike?
Owning a gun or knife and not using it, is akin to not sleeping with your girlfriend to keep her neat and tidy for the next bloke.

    Why not?
As long as you pay your respects with the 2 minutes silence at 1100, why should it be different than any other day?
Life goes on, and the only day you can't shoot in England is Christmas Day legally.
Those that have fallen should obviously be remembered, but we shouldn't write off the whole day because of it.

+1 with monkey spanker. Yes stop at eleven to remember the fallen but they fought so we could carry on our normal lives.

No, disagree, it is DISTASTEFUL in the extreme to hear shooting on Remembrance Sunday.

The "silence" may be at 11.00am but the actual Service of Remembrance goes on for a lot longer BEFORE AND AFTER.

It is in very poor taste.
