I was out a the pheasants yesterday and i was lucky enough to have a crackin woodcock right over me and i manged to shot it, it was one of those shots your will remember for a long time. So i want to attach the pin feathers to my hat but im not sure of the best way to do this. anyone know how to do this?

Snip about 3/4" to 1" off the bottom beak, pop the pin feathers in to the two holes left and let them set by drying out. Match the feathers left/right
You then have a sheath for them which is easier to fix to a hat by pin etc
